This blog compiles a life of a young Indonesian who once only dared to dream what amazing it would be like to live abroad, to be independent. But then life brings that dream into reality.
The word "abroad" does not only mean living outside of a country. For Adhari it's so much more than that. It means living away from one's parents. Yes, Adhari has been living independently since he was 12 yo. Now he is in his 20s.
It happens very systematically. Adhari started his journey by living a few kilo meters away from his parents house. But then Adhari is addicted to that feeling, the feeling of being independent. He then continued his journey to the level of province, which mean he doesn't only live away from his parent but he also needs to adapt with the new culture.
After that he planned to upgrade the level of his independence to the national level. But then God provided a better plan for him. He gets to experience the real living abroad experience. Up to now Adhari has been living in two countries apart from his own, Turkey and Romania. Adhari has traveled to several countries such as Italy (Milan), France (Lyon, Paris), the Netherlands (Amsterdam, Einhoven), Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur), and Qatar (Doha). Hence, it is not a surprise that Adhari uses this blog to record his experiences along the way.
Apart from that, this blog also displays Adhari's own interest in literary world, film, and culture in general. Hope these all inspire us all in one way or another.
