Some people do meditation to gain their motivation and energy back, as though these two have the ability to evaporate. If they do, I wonder where the it evaporates through? Ear? Hair’s pores (if there were something as such).

But for me, I feel recharged when I write. As eccentric it may sound, I still think it is. I understand the quality of my writing may not reach a certain level where you can be officially called “a writer.” Nevertheless, the very concept of creating something by your own thought and hand give me a sense of being truly productive. You could finish working on anything, but the feeling it gives never as satisfying as finishing a simple blog post. Even though, at the end of the day, it just lays there with no one reading it. It still is very satisfying. I guess you could say that my approach to writing is a therapeutic one.

But why do I stop sending post on this blog?

I have been evaluating many things in life and I think I need to pick and choose things that I want to put online. And it would not be my personal and self-centered contained post that I want to put online. The place for that is journal. And yes, I have been back keeping daily journal. There is something about it that makes days pass more meaningful (as you evaluate your life daily.)

Sure there are things in mind that I think will be beneficial if I post it online but I think I am gonna take it slowly.

This month is different though. This is January. And it has been part of the ritual to post something in January. I know it is very late but I think no such thing as late for a good intention.

I will not post my resolution here. I am well aware now that a place for that is my journal.

Think of this as a catching up moment and hopefully I will post something that will be beneficial for us all.

And as my first paragraph suggests, this post meant to recharge the faded energy or motivation one might have with all the experiences life has to offer; it can be very transforming or even traumatizing. So, let us in the beginning of this year, keep our battery fully charged to face the new exciting days, weeks and months ahead.

Happy new year everybody!
